01
Hunter Gatherer
Hunter Gatherer is a gender bending drag king who devilishly dabbles in campery and sex appeal through his precise story-telling.
Whether it’s through powerful live vocals, comedic lip-sync, titillating boylesque or many a (completely unexaggerated and true) story from his time on earth,
Hunter is sure to entertain.
02
A Class Act
By Bud Potter
A Class Act is a satirical look on the fetishisation of working class people by the upper classes.
We're in a close and camp conversation with the peasant fantasy and what it stands for in circles of the highly restricted and culturally corrupt.
Inspired by Bud's low-income, rural upbringing and frustration with the inaccurate ways working class people are presented in theatre/film by upper class writers.
Performed by Samantha Begeman

Eric Yu
Nobody is safe from being Mummy.
Eric is a Gaulier-trained clown who is fundamentally just a little boy. Unfortunately the adult world has made him both whimsical and very, very angry.
This is a combination that should not exist in nature. And yet, Eric has crawled out of the womb looking for mummy to tell him the answer: what will finally make
us happy?

05
Smoulder
By Kayleigh Mai Hinsley
A prison cell in 2125. Mag and Mog are both accused of witchcraft. But does witchcraft even really exist? And do people really mean what they say here, or are they simply telling stories for survival?
Smoulder is a political short play that blends elements of magical realism and absurdism and explores ideas of retribution, radicalisation, protest and sacrifice.
06
American Candy
By Tom Murray
Zaynab and Connor work in an American Candy store. It’s closing
time and a customer still hasn’t left. 10 minutes later, they’re hiding
her unconscious body in a basement. In the following commotion, their secrets are revealed.
A thrilling dark comedy about capitalism,
corruption and the distrust it generates.
American Candy is The Mango Ensembles next show, coming September 2025.
